Ludie's Kentucky Cornbread

  
1 1/2 cup self-rising meal                 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 7 oz. can cream style corn               1 small onion, chopped
1 8 oz. carton sour cream                  1/2 cup oil
2 eggs                                        


Mix eggs, sour cream, oil and corn. Add onion and cheese. Fold in the meal. Bake in a well greased 9 x 13 baking pan or a large black skillet at 450° for 30 minutes.
